It's my birthday!!!

I'd have to say I had a pretty good birthday. Since my birthday landed on a Sunday Mike took me out to eat on Saturday to Hard Hat. We told our waitor that it was my birthday dinner and she gave me a free scone and a free sundae. Our waitor brought out the sundae while we were standing to leave. We were in a hurry because we were trying to catch a movie. I ate the sundae on the way out and it was kind of funny. All of the waitors were telling me that I couldn't take the cup home with me. I didn't recognize they were talking to me and continued to stuff as much as I could into my mouth as quickly as possible. I finished it off before I was to the door and then handed the cup to the first person I saw. They all could tell I was being rushed by my husband and the sight was kind of comical. (I guess you had to be there).

After watching Star Trek we went to Sub Zero for some icecream. I LOVED the icecream. It was SO GOOD!!! I was impressed with what they used to make the icecream...liquid nitrogen.

On Sunday I went to my parent's house and had a WONDERFUL dinner. I opened up presents and of course had cake and icecream. Thank you family for making my day special.

P.S. Mike got me some fishing equipment so that he can have his back. He also got me a sling shot so that I can practice on our squirrels in the backyard. I got my very first pocket knife!!!

My mother got me a cd full of clipart that I'm super excited to use. This should be great for when I make things for Primary or for scrapbooking.

Down by the boat docks

Mike and I took the day off and decided we'd go fishing. We went up past Ririe and actually had some luck. All in all we caught 4 fish.

Where we started we didn't have any luck but we did have a nice little show. There were also two other guys and a kid sharing our spot with us. The little boy walked up to his dad and told him that he needed to go to the bathroom. The dad said to pick a spot and go. Well, a few feet from us he pulls down his pants and starts going number two. It was so funny and his dad was so embarrassed. Mike thought it was hysterical that he had to get pictures of it. Unfortunately, they are on his phone and I will have to post them at a later date. Here are some other pictures of our day.

My first fish. I was happy to have caught anything.

Mike's second fish.

First fish of the day.

Oops! Someone need a little help?

This is the spot where that little boy took his crap.

My second fish. I had a hard time letting this one go.

Thank you Bryant and Kari for my Christmas gift. It sure came in handy today!!! Mike noticed that I had stripped him of his supplies in order to fill mine. I use mine more....

Drop Dead

Mike and I have been catching squirrels in our backyard. They are nothing but trouble. They have been getting into our garden and digging up seeds or eating our plants. They dig holes in our backyard and chew on wires. We've had enough so we decided to do something about it.

The Zoo

Yay!!! School is basically out. I got to go to the zoo with my kids. I first went with the school. I later went back and asked if I could go through again but this time I took my PSR kids. They loved it. They spent about 2.5 hours there the second time. To help relieve my boredom I took tons of pictures. Here are the two best pictures I took.
