Mesa, AZ

We went to Mesa, Arizona to visit Mike's brother Bryant and his family. We went down for a week. We LOVED it. It was so WARM. It was nice to get away and visit family we never got to see.

We decided to fly since a 2 hour trip was a lot more appealing than 13-14 hours. It ended up being cheaper to fly than to drive. We traveled with Allegiant Air. Quinn was a lap child. They took his car seat and stroller without any extra charge. We felt that was a good deal.

Quinn did really well on the flight. I made sure he continued to suck on his binki or sippy cup.
He fell asleep for about 20 minutes on the way there and on the way back maybe 30 minutes. He didn't seem to mind the pressure. He attracted a lot of attention because he kept squealing because he was so happy and excited. We even had someone take a picture of him because they thought he was so cute.

These are just random pictures. Most are self-explanatory. We got to have a weenie roast. The coolest was that we got to roast Churros. I have never done that. We watched a movie outside on the projector.

There are pictures of Madi feeding Quinn. She quite enjoyed this. She loves babies. So, Madi was feeding Quinn and Maya got in the way because she was trying to entertain him. Quinn got upset. He started to jabber loudly and then extended his arm out toward her angrily while trying to push her away.

We were excited to go swimming but their swimming pools are closed in the winter. We settled for a nice soak in the hot tub.

We went to an Aquarium. The kids were so fun to watch. They were excited about everything. I loved the fish that smile. I saw more things there than going to any beach.

Mike wanted to go to (it's like Cabela's but not...I can't remember the name of it). We took a whole bunch of random pictures.

Some of the other activities we did included: going out to eat, bike riding, going on walks, jumping on the tramp, playing with marshmallow guns, partaking of fresh squeezed orange juice and homemade lemonade, going to shopping centers like the mall and Costco, etc.

If you can't tell this was taken at Krispy Kreme's. I thought it was a cute pictures with all 3 of us. Not bad for being my camera phone.

Mike saw a store with wigs and thought it would be funny to put one on Quinn. Technically you're not supposed to put them but Mike has a way with getting what he wants. Here is a sample of what he would look like as a girl and with more hair. I think no matter what he'd always be the cutest little kid ever!

Thank you Kari, Bryant, and family for a wonderful week!
