I'm so proud of Dan taking this step. Yup, he finally did it. He got married. I love Allyx and she is so perfect for him. They are so cute together.
One thing that I regret is that I wasn't able to make it to his wedding. I feel so bad for not being able to share this time with family. I felt left out. I enjoyed looking at all the pictures that were taken and they were all so beautiful. I'll be able to see Dan and Allyx when they have their reception here in Idaho.

Our Cruise
Mike and I went on a cruise in April as a part of our honeymoon. We weren't able to go in December since everything happened so fast. We had two stops; one in Cozumel and the other in _______. In Cozumel we had to find a taxi to get to the mainland. The unfortunate thing is that we couldn't speak Spanish and we were lucky to meet a couple that knew the language. We went to the beach but had to pay to swim in certain parts. We refused to pay at first and they were ready to kick us off. We finally gave in since we didn't know what else we would do. The part that we paid for we had a swimming pool that wasn't full of salt water. That was better for Mike since he has such sensitive skin. After the beach we found another taxi that took us to the ruins. We thought that they would be a little different than what they were. We found some lizards along the way that frankly just scared me.
The next day a bus was provided for us to take us to the shops. We shopped around and tried to haggle everyone. There was one lady that just wouldn't budge. We asked and asked and asked. We left since we knew we wouldn't get our way. We thought that we would try one more time. Still she told us no. We thought that she was funny and had to take a picture with her. After we just walked around the city but didn't stay too long. It was way too hot and Mike was starting to get sun burnt.
Being on the ship was fun. They had a lot of activities for us to do. Our favorite part was the formal dinners. We could order anything that we wanted and however much we wanted. Our waitors made us feel like royalty. They would have us do certain things during dinner to make it more entertaining.
We joined a lot of activities like the bean bag toss, country dancing, karoke, etc. We would go the late night shows. Karoke was the funniest since everyone was drunk. There was this one gal that would get involved in everything. She was so funny and so energetic. I couldn't believe some of the things that she would do. Although, right now I can't think of any examples.

My Wedding Reception
Mike and I had our wedding reception 3 weeks after we got married. We had to do it this way since everything went so fast and we didn't get announcements out in time. Unfortunately, Jan. 20, 2007 was a cold wintry blistery night. Not as many people came as we expected. It was still great though. My family, particularly my mother, did a wonderful job making everythhing so beautiful. The truth of the matter is that I didn't see what the gym looked like until a few minutes before. All I had to do was get dressed in my wedding dress. Okay, I also help clean but I still think I got a good deal.
I love my family for all the work they put into my reception and the wedding. Because of them, everything fell into place. I have them to thank for making it all happen.

My Wedding Day!!!
We did it!!! Thinking that we just met in September it really didn't take us long to get married. We were really fickle about our wedding date. We originally set the date for March 3rd and about every three days we would move it up a month. Everyone would tease us saying that we couldn't move it up much more because we're running out of days. About a week and a half before the 29th we agreed that we would get married on the 29th. We called the temple, called to reserve the church, and very quickly put togehter a wedding. We didn't even think about the reception since we didn't have time to send out our announcements. I liked the fact we left after the luncheon and didn't have to worry about a reception.

Our engagement pictures
My friend Kathy Taylor took our engagement pictures. She brought some pictures into work that she took for her daughter and I was impressed with them. We went over to her house and had our pictures taken around the farm. We had a lot of fun although it was super cold. At least it was sunny.

Mike proprosed!!!

Mike and I had talked about getting married last weekend. On Tuesday we went ring shopping. We found two things that we liked. Mike asked when I could go ring shopping again and had set a date for next Thursday. We had a date on Friday night and at the end he gave me a big black manilla envelope that read mission impossible. Inside was a picture of a child and a CD. I listened to the CD on the way home. It told me that there were plans for a knock list to be stolen and this man needed to be stopped. It indicated the photo enclosed was a little outdated of the suspect but it was the only they had. I had to choose to accept this mission and needed to wait for a phone call for further instructions.
The next evening, I receive a phone stating that someone would be at my place of residence to pick me up for further information. Mike then took me to Gringos for dinner. We were at the booth looking for what we wanted to order when all of a sudden he declares that he needs to go to the bathroom. I started to become anxious when he was gone for what seemed to be like a long time. I got up to go to the bathroom and returned and he still wasn't back. The waitress came to my table asking if I was ready to order. I told her that I needed to wait for my boyfriend that was in the bathroom. Another waitress comes to my table and hands me a big black manilla envelope. I open it up and there are a set of car keys, three photos of Mike in a wig with an outdated dress coat suit on, and some instructions for me to follow. I was to go to Arby's. (The funny thing is that on the way to Rexburg I noticed that Mike was using his spare key and being curious asked why. I found out soon enough).
I walked inside of Arby's and it took me a second to spot Mike since he was dressed in his gidup. He had a tablecloth laid out with two candlesticks. He told me that he needed to be seduced for more information concerning the crime. Since I didn't know what a knock list was I didn't really know what to do. He helped me of course. We both agreed that we weren't sure if he was a good guy or a bad guy so to take precautions I needed to be dressed in a disguise as well. We went to his secret warehouse (the D.I.) for my disguise.
We went bowling in our disguises since we needed to waste some time before our culprits would be in town. It was so fun!!! Mike told me that there was no way that anyone could recognize us becuase of our disguises. One of the first things that happened when walking inside the door was....IS THAT ANGIE JENKINS?
Afterward, we went to the Romney Building. One of our previous dates was going there and shooting nerf guns at each other. He hid nerf guns in the building and my job was to find them. I was unsuccessful so once again he had to help me. The object was to shoot the other three times first. So it happened to be that Mike was a bad guy. I won shooting him dead (although he let me win). When I was being held captive by Mike's other split personality character, he got down on his knee, and proposed. Thinking that he wasn't serious, I didn't answer him. When he opened the ring box and I noticed there was a real ring, I was speechless. He sat there for a few moments waiting and finally asked what my answer was.
I got home and had to wake up my parents. My mom was like, "Oh that's nice sweetie." I was disappointed with that answer and showed her my ring. Then she understood what I was trying to tell her.
